VILANO BEACH ADVENTURES FOR ACTIVE ADULTS

Aside from the stunning beaches, residents can take advantage of the nearby Vilano Beach pier and the lovely Art Deco fountains. Historical sites can also be found throughout one of Florida's oldest cities such as Fort Matanzas and the Lightner Museum.

RELAX ON ANASTASIA ISLAND

This barrier island is a must-see. Only 14 miles long, Anastasia Island’s wide array of attractions and restaurants are a fun getaway from Juniper Sands. Anastasia State Park is a great destination for sand bars and swimming areas. Matanzas River is just moments from our St. Augustine mobile home community and is perfect for kayaking. Visiting Matanzas State Forest and Fort Matanzas National Monument make for a great day out. This coastal stone fort built was built by the Spanish in the 18th century and is one of many historical landmarks in the area. And last but not least, don’t miss a chance to catch a concert at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre. You won’t regret it!
